So much fun!!!

I have been having so much fun lately with my new Big Shots. My scrapbook club was this past Tuesday night and their project was using the Big Shot to create a 12x12 layout. Check it out and check out those girls hard at work!

Then last weekend I went to a Stampin' Up! demonstrator overnight retreat in South Haven. What a great time that was!!!! We all shared class ideas and there were lots of samples and ideas oh and don't forget the food! YummmO!!!

Below you'll see the card I made that was my swap card. Also a box that I made using the Big Shot. I'm telling you if you don't have that machine you definately need to look into getting one. It is Awesome!

These two boxes were created using the envelope die. The Joy boxes lid is made with the envelope and the other box used 2 envelopes to create the box. Super easy and soooo cute!

This tall box was actually kind of a mistake. The lid is created using a scalloped circle die. I scored it and cut and folded it up. In my mind I had created a small scalloped edge box. My husband turned it upside down and said "No its a lid" and the light bulbs went off. I took that "lid" and went and made a box to fit it. I wanted it unique so I created it to be tall. The "cork" leaf I also cut with the Big Shot and the leaves die. That cork is abou 1/4" thick and that die cut right through it like butter. There are like 51 different items that will go through this machine. You can cut felts, fabric, metals, and more.

Want to learn about the Big Shot, check out the link to more information on the right hand column.

Now for something Non-Stamping related that is FuN!!! My daughter has her Youth group meetings on Wed. Nights. This past Wed. was Wacky Hair night. Well I just have to share with you her Wacky Hair...Isn't that FuNnY!!!!!!
Guess what.....She Won!!! That is 2 years running that she has Won the Wacky Hair night for Youth. This is her Sister standing with her. The Blond is 15 and the Wacky Hair child is 13. The 13 year old is going to be tall and is as tall as me now. You can imagine there are lots of rants about the little sister being taller then the big sister in our household.

Artisan Award Winners

Every year, Stampin' Up! recognizes 10 demonstrators for their creative abilities through the Artisan Award. The winners of this competition always amaze me with their incredible abilities--and I want to share that inspiration! Throughout the year, Stampin' Up! will be giving the 10 Artisan Award Winners different challenges, and then they post the projects that they come up with.

Here are several of the projects that have been posted recently. This is one of the benefits of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. Stampin' Up! is always sending out creative ideas for us in some way.

These projects are made with the Party Hearty stamp set on page 63 of the catalog. This is a stamp set that you can get for 20% off until October 31st, with a $20 purchase.

Don't know about Stampin' Up!'s 20th Birthday Party celebration? You can save 20% on several stamp sets. Just click on the link I have on the right hand side of my blog. There are 8 different sets to save on.

Here are some other ideas for birthday celebrations. I love those little boxes. Those are made using the Envelope die cut that you use with our Big Shot. You cut 4 envelopes and use the side flaps to connect them all together to create a box. The first one without the handle was called a cupcake holder. Can you see it each cupcake in a box. The other box with the handle has a cello bag with some chocolate in it. Now who wouldn't want a cute box with chocolate?

I LOVE SCRAPBOOKING!!!

2 postings in one day! Yeah for you! I have lots to share today I guess.

My favorite thing to use Stampin' Up! products for is Scrapbooking. I started stamping with Stampin' Up! about 12 year ago. I started with cards but had this burning desire to get into scrapbooking. It was several years later that I finally plunged into the scrapbooking world and LOVE IT!! I'm a scrapbooker at heart. Quite often when I look at a card I, in my mind, turn that into a scrapbook page.
Here is a layout using the new Big Shots and the snowflake dies. I am LOVING this Big Shot.

The page below is called a Progressive page. Meaning you start with a 6x6 page, Layer that onto an 8 1/2" x 11" page and then layer all that onto a 12x12 page.
I used the hostess stamp set called Fall Flair. I also used some of our new Designer Brads, and 1" Double Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon.

Both of these pages are ones that I copied from samples at a Demonstrator meeting that I went to. I don't remember who had made them but I thought they were awesome!

That is one of the many perks of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is going to demonstrator only events. I love them! Now is a great time to Join Stampin' Up! too with the $99 special. You must join in the next few days though because this special ends October 11th. After that the cost goes back up to $199.
As a Demonstrator you get a discount on your own products, You have access to demonstrator only web sites, You can attend the demonstrator only events.
#1 thing most people worry about when signing up is having to do a Stampin' Up! party. Let me share with you that you don't have to worry anymore...you NEVER have to do a Stampin' Up! party if you don't want to. You can join simply to get a discount on your own products. It really is that easy!!! Have more questions?? Contact me at inkpeddler@gmail.com or ready to join?? Then visit my Stampin' Up! web site and click on the join now button. You can be a demonstrator in about 20 minutes!

PMS'n Fun!!!!

NOTE: If you received this in email and you don't see this whole posting you must go to my Blog to see the complete posting.

WoW!!! I had a great time at the PMS all day crop. There were 11 of us that cropped together. Some stayed the whole time from 10am until Midnight. I love this time to just sit and stamp, scrapbook, eat and enjoy friends! It was awesome! I had my Sizzix, Cuttlebug and Big Shot out for use, along with a lot of dies. My stamp sets were availabe, punches, and more.

I sat next to my bestest friend, Beth and my other bestest friend Beth. Haha!! Yes I said by 2 Beth's. It did get a little confusing at times. But that doesn't take much to confuse me sometimes. haha!
I had this idea of a scrapbook page that I had found on a blog somewhere...sorry can't remember where. So I was making the page and then got the bright idea to take a picture right there and print it out of my friend and I. Yes I do have my computer with me at my spot along with a printer all day. I just have so many ideas that I need my computer and hey I'm at my own home and my internet is portable being cellular so why not??? Plus when I shared ideas and some of the girls wanted the pattern I could just print it right out for them. Worked like a charm!!!
So any way. Here's the picture of Beth and I.....

... And here's the scrapbook page. Beth got a picture also and we each did our own page. Beth did her's to match her stamping room. Aren't they cool!

The flower border was done using a die from Stampin' Up! and the Big Shot. The letters were the coolest. I glued a small piece of patterned paper onto a piece of chipboard. Then using my Big Shot and a die cut font I cut out the letters, so they are chipboard thickness. That worked slick as could be.
I have my page framed ready to hang it in my room. Now just to find a place to hang it in here.
I am planning my next all day crop so keep your eyes open for more information. I'm working on planning one for November. I'll get information out to you as soon as possible. I hope to see you there...it's a great time to get some of your Christmas cards done or catch up on scrapbooking. Get those Halloween pictures and scrapbook them in November!!
