Club Projects!

Have you ever found a scrapbook page that you just love...BUT you don't scrapbook you only make cards? How about a card that you just love...BUT you don't make cards you only scrapbook.

In my stamp club this month I gave each person the same exact pieces and then they were able to create either a card or a scrapbook page. It just showed them how to adapt a great idea to the type of project that they want to do.

Here is the 1st project...It used the Stitched Exotics stamp set with some Urban Garden designer paper, Square rhinestone brads, Chit chat rub-ons This project shows the card in 2 different colors. So not only can you change the project you can change the colors **GASP!* I know, I know calm down!!! I hear it so many times that stampers have to do the projects exactly as they see them. They just can't handle changing things up.

The next few pictures are close ups of the projects so you can see the difference with the colors.

This is a close up of the scrapbook page. You can see my husband and Beth filling their mouths with meatballs at one of my all day crops.

Wooo Hoooo! I'm back....

...from where I don't know. I know it's been a long while since I've posted. I just haven't had much creativitiy for a while. But that is changing....
I had an all day cropping event at my house and if you missed it, you missed out! I kick my husband out of his woodworking shop and take over! There were 12 of us there, we had a great time stamping & scrapbooking. Everyone had access to my stamp sets and die cuts.
The food we had was awesome. Everyone brought something...we had veggies & dip, chicken salad w/pita pockets, hot dogs, meatballs, potato salad, chips & salsa, brownies, and the list goes on and on. Feast & Stamp!!! That's what it was all day!
Here you can see my Sizzix dies and stamp sets.
The boxes below were full of retired stamp sets that were marked 30% off the original price. The day of the crop I offered everyone an additional 10% off.
You'll also see in this picture all kinds of samples. I gave those away FREE!!! I get over run with samples and can't stand just throwing them away so I gave them away.

If you missed out watch for future events. I'm sure there will be another all day crop again.

I know, I know I hear you....What did you make? I want to see some stamping...

Ok...Ok...Here is a card that I stamped that day.
I'll share more with you in the next post! Keep watch!

Stamp Club Projects!

Hey Stampers! We had a lot of fun at our first Stamp club. If you didn't join the club you missed out on some great stamping and projects.
One of the projects you should recognize from a previous post on my blog, the all white Big Shot card it was a hit.
The other project we did involved Chocolate!!! Take two of the Scalloped Edge envelopes that we cut out on the Big Shot we created a small Chocolate holder. Inside are 2 York Peppermint Patties. Yum-O!!!
The last two projects were cards. The Not Quite Navy & Baja Breeze card was an idea I got from a Demonstrator Friend, Jennifer Batchelor! I love her work! You see the scalloped rectangular piece...that was created using 2 square scallop punches. KA-LEVER!!!!!! I never would have thought to do this.
The last card used several products to create. We used the Embosslits with the Big Shot to create the 3 flowers. The 2 outside flowers have the new Jumbo brads in them for centers.
Then we stamped the Frames & Flourishes stamp and the greeting inside was a Rub-On. This card turned out WAAAYYY CUTE!!!!
So see just for joining a Club these girls were able to make the projects for FREE!! One of the many benefits of being in a Stamp Club. If your interested in joining a Stamp Club contact me for more information! It's a great way to make new friends, and purchase your wish list on a budget!
