Another Tabletop unfinished scrapbook

Here is another tabletop scrapbook that is unfinished. It shows no pictures and also uses a different Simply Scrappin Kit.

Hope you enjoyed these and if your interested in a class let me know.
Also keep watch on my Etsy shop for these to be for sale!

Tabletop Scrapbooking

Here is a great scrapbooking project to do for those that are intimidated by scrapbooking. You can take one event and create a Tabletop scrapbook to sit on a mantle or anywhere for display.
The pictures are on both sides.

To create this project you need half of a Simply Scrappin kit, 2 pieces of 9 3/8" x 9 3/8" chipboard, Whisper White 12x12 cardstock and your pretty much ready to go.

In this project you'll notice a very cute young couple! Aren't they adorable!!! Yes...Yes...You guessed it. That is my husband and I 23 years ago on our wedding day. Oh to go back to that time in our lives again would be grand!!!

NEW TOYS!!!!!!!

Ok let me put my disclaimer in here first...
I know, I know I'm a Stampin' Up! demonstrator but I do like other brands of "toys" also! So don't hate me for this but I just have to share my excitement!

Are you ready???
I GOT A CRICUT EXPRESSIONS!!!!

WHAT?????? You don't know what that is??? It's a machine that cuts out shapes and fonts.
It looks like this

I went on a scrapbooking retreat a few weekends ago and played with my Cricut. I'll share the pages that I did with it. I did use Stampin' Up! cardstock so it's partly Stampin' Up! .

I just had to share or maybe its a confession.

So are you ready to see what I did with them?
You'll see there is some Big Shot die cuts on the Monster Baby page. So there you go...I've confessed that I have waivered from Stampin' Up! for a bit but don't worry...Stampin' Up! is my first love of papercrafting! They have THE BEST product out there!
Hope you enjoy the pages..leave me a comment and let me know what you think!

My recent Stampings!

Hey Stampers,
Have you missed me? I know its been a while since I've shared any stampings with you.
Let me explain by just saying...I have or had a 16 year old in driver's training for the last few weeks. So I've been chasing her back and forth to driver's training. We are now done with that for a little while....but now I'm riding with a new 16 year old driver....talk about SCARY!!!!!! haha!!

So my most recent stamping was a Mother's day card. I did this really cool technique on the rose. Using Shimmery White cardstock here are the instructions.
  • stamp rose image (from Fifth Avenue Floral Set) on Shimmery White cardstock using White Craft Ink
  • heat emboss with Clear Embossing Powder and the heat tool
  • generously spritz entire embossed image with water in a spray bottle - spray until there are puddles of water, not just wet paper
  • use an Aquapainter to dip into drops of classic reinker and just "touch" the tip of the Aquapainter/ink to each section of the rose - ink flows inside each section (because of the embossing) but will also blend nicely when you touch more than one color to a section
  • use 2 or 3 coordinating reinker colors in any combo you wish (classic ink)
I used: Pink Pirouette, Regal Rose, Cameo Coral and Summer Sun on the sample
  • clean Aquapainter tip in between applying each color
    let dry,
  • cut out image and mount to card or project.
  • They took approx. 20 to 30 minutes to dry - will vary by climate/weather.

I found this technique on Patty's web site.

Another card that I did was this one below. I did the same technique as above except that I embossed with black on Shimmery White cardstock. Then I used just one color on each flower. I used Baja Breeze and Kiwi Kiss. These are both In-Colors and will be retiring soon so be sure and get your cardstock, ink and reinker's before the colors are gone.
This card is actually for sale. I have started an Etsy store to sell some of my handmade items.
Check it out go to http://inkpeddlerKim.etsy.com you'll find this card on there for sale.
I've just started this store so the card is the only thing there right now but be sure and bookmark the site and return to see what else I add for sale.
If you have a request for some let me know and I'll see what I can do.
I hope you enjoyed these projects and if you try this technique be sure and send me a picture of your projects. I'd love to see them!
