Bragging on my Club

Ok you seen from the posting below the sample scrapbook pages that I did for my scrapbook club right. If not scroll down and check them.

Since I only had 1 package of Designer Series paper everyone got a different print. That meant that the girls had to get a little creative on their own. Here are a couple of the pages that were done that night.

You girls in the club that didn't come....missed out! Ya should have been there, we had fun!

More Scrapbooking...

Tonight is Stamp Club and here is the 2nd 2-page layout that we'll be making.
We'll be using some of the new flower brads and new ribbon.
Everyone's page will be a bit different because its going to depend on which pattern paper they will use. I choose mine to be this one because its a bit wild and sometimes that just reflects myself.
These are the new In-Colors Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze, & it also uses Not Quite Navy and Basic Grey.
I'd better scoot...I have the club's projects all planned but I have nothing cut yet for them and they'll be here in about 5 1/2 hours.

Scrapbooking Club

Hey I wanted to share something with you quick before I head off to work....Ugh did I really just say that?????
This is a 2 page layout that I'll be doing with my scrapbooking club Tuesday night. Scrapbooking is my true love in the papercraft world. This layout happens to be a Smith Original. I haven't had time to find pictures to go on here yet. Hopefully I'll get to that soon.

I've had a great time this summer not having to work and being able to just play and stamp. But reality is setting back in as the alarm went off this morning, that real life is back in motion. Even though the kids aren't quite back into school yet, I am back to work at the school. Those that don't know I drive the Food service delivery van. So today is the back to work meeting that the food service has and then after that I get to deliver to the school some of their food supplies they'll be needing those first few days. Then I get a couple days off and back to deliver more on Thursday. Then a few more days off and after Labor Day it's back to working every day again. UGH!!! I'd rather stamp!!!!!
This is rough...after being a stay at home Mom for 15+ years and then going back to work last fall it wasn't to bad. It was change and I like change, but now after having 3 months off again...I'm ready to change back to being a stay at home Mom..hahahaha!!! Life just doesn't happen that way though...gotta do what you gotta do!
Well better run...have a great day and I hope that this layout inspires you to tackle some scrapbooking of yours that's been laying around.
Don't forget that if you need time to do your own stamping or scrapbooking I have a "all day crop" or PMS night scheduled for Saturday September 27th. Want more details...check out my Stampin' Up! calendar. Hope to see you there!

OH what FUN!!!!

I want to thank everyone who came to my Customer Appreciation Event! I had a blast this year. If you didn't make it out, all I can say is you missed out. I gave away over 30 stamp sets.

We played musical chairs and the winner got a stamp set. There was door prize tickets that were given for all kinds of reasons and I drew a winner every 1/2 hour to 15minutes for a winner. I think everyone went home with something.

We also had the Crafter's Garage Sale and there was a lot of things for sale to choose from. You can see in the picture below a few of the items for sale. I had magazine and idea books for FREE. I was cleaning out my stamping room to make room for more.

People had a great time with the Make N Takes and mingling. There was plenty of food for everyone. Chocolate cake with cream cheese filling and frosting, how can you go wrong? haha!!

There was samples of all kinds of new products. The new In Colors are spectacular and they have matching ribbon. This year we also went "high tech" at the checkout table with a computer and keeping track of everyones garage sales. I can't Thank Beth & Kristin enough. I couldn't do this event without them that's for sure!

Stampin' Up! News!!

HOLY COW!!!!
That about all I can say as I sit at home watching other Stampin' Up! demo blogs. Stampin' Up! convention has been going on this week. There have been some huge announcements.
They have shown some awesome new products and more.

One of the biggest announcements is that Stampin' Up! has partnered with Sizzix. WHAT??? You don't know what Sizzix is??? It is a die cutting system. That means we will have Stampin' Up! images that you can die cut out of your cardstock and such. That means you can make your own stencils with Stampin' Up! images. This is awesome news!!! I'm so glad they have finally gotten into the realm of die cuts.

Want to see more of whats coming in new products from the upcoming catalog?? Then take 5 and go get yourself a cup of coffee or diet coke....your going to want it after you start surfing these blogs I'm going to share!
