Circle Scissors Plus

Hey Stamper's!
At the seminar I went to Saturday I had to demonstrate and show samples of projects done with the Circle Scissors Plus. The pink holder was a 6"circle that was folded up to create a pocket. In the pocket I put a 3x3 card with some chocolate. YUM-O!!
The other is a card that I used the texture plates on the front and cut a scalloped circle with the big shot. The big shot and circle scissors goes hand in hand. They work very well together! To see more circle scissor ideas click on the link on the right hand side under card gallery. There are some awesome scrapbook pages in there also. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think!

Fifth Ave Stamping

Hello Stamper's!

I volunteered to stamp some samples with the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set. Here are 3 samples that I made. A couple of them are copied and some are adapted from other's ideas. I'm a great one to copy ideas or build from ideas I see to my own style.

This is just 3 samples of what I've done. If you'd like to see more with the Fifth Avenue Floral click on the link under Card Gallery on the right hand side bar.

Spring Has Sprung!!!

Hey Stampers, Today I am at my Upline Jackie's all day Stampin' Up! seminar. I told you in my last post that I have to demonstrator the Circle Scissors Plus. Well if you know me I will research and see what others are doing then build from there. I found on Julia's blog a tutorial on how to make these different flowers using the circle scissors plus.

The big 5 petal yellow flower has a center that is 6" around and the leaves are 4 1/2". That makes one huge flower let me tell you!

The flower with the patterned paper petals is more like a 4 1/2" center with 2" petals.

These "roses" were fun to make. You start out with several different sized circles and run them through your crimper.

Then sponge on some ink so that you give them some definition. Then cut slits around the circle to create each individual petal. Then using a bamboo skewer like you would make kabobs with I rolled each petal around the skewer to create the ruffled effect. I put a pop up glue dot in the center that was covered with micro beads. I put a hole in the center of each circle and slid them on to create the different layers. It's a lot easier then I'm making it sound believe me! I just thought they were really cute.

Keep watch I have a lot to post but don't want to overwhelm you to much. I'm sure I'll have tons more after I see everyones art work at the seminar!!!

Until next time...keep stampin!!

It's been a long time!!!

I know its been a long time since I've posted on my blog, but be assured that I have been stamping like crazy. I just can't share what I've been stamping as of yet. Tomorrow I have an all day Stampin' Up! seminar and have been stamping things for that. I'll be sharing my creations after the seminar. I will be demonstrating the Circle Scissors and have done some fun things with that. Until then here are some of my beautiful spring Crocus's for your to enjoy! As most of you know, Scrapbooking it my true passion in the papercraft world. I create the cards and other things but I love scrapbooking. Below are a couple of pages that my friend Beth made at the last All Day Crop I had. Aren't they the cutest!!! These were done with some of the FREE Designer papers that we got at Sale-a-bration time. You'll also see the butterflies...those are made with the Big Shot and then ran through with a Texture Plate. There is also Dasies from the Big Shot using the Dasies #2 die.
Well that will have to hold you for now. Keep watch though for some fun projects!
