Graduation is around the corner...

I thought I'd share a really cute card for graduation. How many of you have a graduation to go to this year? I know I'll have one for sure.

This card was created by one of my downline, Holly Anderson. She is actually using her's for her son's invitations to his graduation. How cool is that!!!

Stampin' Up! Starter Kit Special
SAVE 40% OFF RETAIL. Shipping is included!
I admit it. I love to stamp and initially bought the Stampin' Up! starter kit as a way to get over $350 worth of Stampin' Up!'s most popular merchandise for $199. The free shipping and handling was a nice bonus, too. Wow! As the wheels continued to turn, I discovered that I also got 30% off my first order and a 20% discount on future orders.

So I loaded up. Taking advantage of the 30% off allowed me to purchase many of the Stampin' Up! products I always coveted.

What happened next? The arrival of all my beautiful new stamps and supplies convinced me to begin a career doing what I adore. I also enjoy other demonstrator privileges including receiving the new catalogs and being able to order new products in advance of the sales period.
However, everyone has different reasons for purchasing the Stampin' Up! Starter Kit. There is absolutely no obligation to sell anything or buy anything more. The quarterly minimum is $300 in retail sales to remain active.
I'm here to help. Whether you would like to earn money to pay for your stamping supplies, create a full or part-time career . . . or simply want the discounts on your personal stamping projects, I'm here to answer any questions and help you get started.
You can sign up online with me. Just click on the link on the right hand side. You will need to contact me to get a password. I can't wait to have you join me with Stampin' Up!

You missed out!!!

I had my Stampin' Fiesta last week Saturday and it was a great time!! There was tons of creativity happening all day!
There was plenty of Chocolate laid out for everyone.

You'll even find that the only man around got involved in his craft that day also. He was a bit noisy with his drills and screw guns, but most people didn't seem to mind.

I had my Sizzix out there for everyone to use. I had a Cuttlebug with my embossing folders out there. I had all my stamp sets available for use.
There was plenty of food for the whole day.
You'll see above that a couple of the creative attenders had to refuel with some of that food. I think they both were just standing up there grazing for a while. Guess I can't blame them with the smells that were coming from the food bar. YUM YUM!!!
If you weren't able to attend this time be sure and watch my calendar. I hold this type of event twice a year. Once usually in Feb. or March and once in Oct. or Nov. This year it was pushed out to April because that "man" had a huge job that took up all the space in the shop. So I had to wait until that job was done.
All in all it was a great day of creativity and enjoying the friendships!!!

It's coming again...

Hey last year did you happen to make it over for my Customer Appreciation event last year?? We had a blast!!! I had all kinds of give aways, like every half hour. I had retired stuff for sale, a sale on New Catalog products. There were samples, demonstrations, food, make n takes and more. If you missed out on it, you missed a lot of fun!!!

Here is a picture of some of the retired items I had for sale.

It was a great time!! I want to let you know that I will be doing it again this year. The tenative date is going to be Saturday, August 16th 2008.
The New Catalog will not start until August 11th this year. Stampin' Up! is adjusting the release date of the New Catalog to coincide with the annual Stampin' Up! convention. So instead of the New Catalog starting in July like it has been for the last few years, it will start in August.
So mark your calendars and plan on attending my Customer Appreciation Event this year. It could mean FREE STAMPS or FREE PRODUCT just for you!!!!!

Quick & Cute

Here are a couple of cards that are very quick to make but are cute! We made these cards at Kathy DeVries party. Don't you wish you could have come and played with us?
We also made a Photo Wallet. This would be a great project to create and fill with pictures of the kids for Grandma. You could also put in pictures of a pet or a fun vacation you want to share. The ideas are endless with this project.
See now don't you really wish you had come to the party? Well you can always book your own party and then earn FREE product for yourself. Just give me a call and see what days I'm available.

Scrapbook Sketching

Have you ever seen a scrapbooking layout that you just loved. Did you know that when you look at a card or scrapbook page that what the eye sees is the color and then the stamp set or products used. You can take any page or card and recreate it using different colors or products. For example check out this scrapbook sketch and then the 2 different layouts using that sketch as the basis of their layout.
These samples came out of a magazine that we get as Stampin' Up! demonstrators.
I've gotten many benefits of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator myself and haven't regretted it once.
If you have ever thought about joining Stampin' Up! give me a call. We can get you signed up online right from my Stampin' Up! web site. You honestly have NOTHING to loose. The kit is worth every penny and you get many other benefits of being a demonstrator. There is a demo only section on the Stampin' Up! web site with tons of information. Plus the demo only events are a riot. Tons of stamping and sharing! Give me a call I promise you will love it!
